I don’t scrapbook much anymore but when I saw the latest scrapbook challenge by Ruth Clarke over at Just at Ink I thought it was time to enter my first ever Scrapbook Challenge so here is the sketch.

I’ve wanted to scrapbook this photo for years but I’ve never been able to find the right colours. So when I opened one of my new pretties, Patio Party, I knew I finally had it!!  This gorgeous paper, combined with Ruth’s inspiration made this page come together in a flash.

I’ve added a brand new flower that one of my Avid Inkers besties, Carolyn McPherson, shared with us at our monthly meeting.

Don’t you just love it?  The shimmer is super easy to make.  Simply pour a small amount of shimmer paint (around ½ cm) into one of the brand new Stampin Spritzers, fill up with Isocol and there you have it.  Fast drying shimmer spray.  I’ll be buying more of these let me tell you.  I can’t wait to try more combinations.
